Buffalo Wings N’ Things
In the land where inasal reigns, it’s a good thing that there’s Buffalo Wings N’ Things, a restaurant that offers an alternative choice on how we can enjoy our chicken. Buffalo Wings N’ Things is a franchise restaurant that opened here in Bacolod City last February 8, 2016. Their main attraction is chicken wings cooked in various flavors. The restaurant itself has a very modern, stylish feel to it. I had a chat with one of the owners, the charming and articulate Ms. Jessa Chang, and she mentioned that the design is patterned after Buffalo Wings N’ Things outlets in New York and Manila. Their place caters to young professionals, students and families who want to dine and hang out in a cool, comfortable atmosphere.
If you order the chicken wings you can choose the degree of spiciness and the flavor that you want. For those who enjoy and can tolerate the shocking spiciness they have Ultimate Wingsanity, Armageddon, Firehouse Classic, Chipotle Lime and The Rookie. For the flavorful yet not so spicy, they have Basil N’ Garlic, Chipotle Barbeque and Garlic Parmesan. The wings go well with either the blue cheese or buffalo ranch dip.

1.New York’s Finest– When I arrived, Ms. Jessa already prepared New York’s Finest as it is said to be the best seller in all Metro Manila branches and even in New York. Honestly, I was kind of surprised when I tasted it as I expected it to be too spicy given the strong chili flavors. But I as went on munching I enjoyed its lemony taste and the spiciness was tolerable after all. It goes well with the blue cheese dip. Spicy food lovers, this flavor will surely satisfy your palate. 2.Nachos– one of best nachos I’ve tasted. Freshly prepared nacho chips topped with ground beef, salsa and cheese sauce. (P144)
3.Bacon Cheese Burger– three burger patties served separately in soft burger buns with onion and tomato slices, a big strip of bacon and cheese sauce. (P229)
4.Chicken Quesadillas– This one is really good! Flat tortillas filled with chicken breast chunks, tomatoes, onions, lots of cheese and spices. (P!59)
5.New York Cheesecake Ice Cream– graham cheesecake on the outside and vanilla ice cream inside. (P89)
Other “things” that they offer are Burritos, Chicken Tenders and Hotdog Sandwich to name a few. You can also avail of their lunch special promos Monday to Friday at 11:00am to 5:00pm. Buffalo Wing N’ Things opens at 10:00am to 11:00pm (Monday-Thursday) and 10:00am to 1:00am (Friday and Saturday)
