5 TOP BESTSELLERS OF FOGO MEXICAN RESTAURANT

Burritos and nachos have always been in my favorites list so it was a delight to know that Fogo Mexican Restaurant offers these good old Latino treats. I have also heard around that their quesadillas are delicious.  So off I went to give it a try.

At the restaurant, I got to talk to Mr. Rey John Asparin and his wife Mia who are part owners of the business.  The other partners behind the success of Fogo are Richard and Katrina Lacson and Chef BJ Benedicto. Fogo started three years ago in its original location at the Dream 21 Building, North Drive, Bacolod. According to Sir John they decided to close the original branch because their location was quite hidden and had limited parking space. “We were lucky that we got this new location and it is very accessible.” Ms. Mia added.

Why Fogo?  “Because we wanted to introduce something new to the Bacolod market” she mentioned.  The city has a growing number of restaurants to choose from but limited choices as far as authentic tasting Mexican-Portuguese dishes is concerned.

I sampled Fogo’s yummy treats and here’s a list of their top 5 bestsellers:

5. Avocado Mousse- creamy avocado mousse that is best eaten when chilled. (P80)

Also included in their menu are Mexican selections like carnitas, empanaditas, nacho salad, and churrasco sandwich among others.  It is noteworthy that the prices are affordable.

Since their new location is very accessible, expats/foreigners, young professionals and families frequent the place. The interior is Latino inspired and very colorful.  It is spacious and has a comfortable and relaxed ambiance.

So come and experience Latin-American food at Fogo.  It is located at the ground floor of O Hotel, Mandalagan, Bacolod City. For reservations you may contact 0999-816-93-21
