If shawarma wraps are what you’re looking for, then Homesitte Shawarma is definitely the answer. I visited their Billboard branch at B.S Aquino Drive to get a feel of the place.

This branch is managed by the young and charming Nika Ignacio, a fourth year Marketing student from the University of St. La Salle. Nika said that both her parents (Romy and Jeani) collaborated on the recipes, food and add-ons in the menu that would attract more customers. She and Mom Jeani would also exchange ideas on how to keep the family business growing.

The main branch at Homesite is being run by her parents. It is the family residence turned into a shawarma joint. It started as a food cart business operating at various malls and grew to what it is today.

I asked Nika what makes Homesitte shawarma different from other beef wraps? “It’s our garlic sauce. My Mom personally developed that recipe.”

Homesitte Shawarma (main) opens at 10:00 am to 8:00 pm-daily while the Billboard branch opens at 11:00 am to 9:00 pm (Mondays- Saturdays).
