WINNERS OF LITTLE MISS 2GO TRAVEL 2017

I was invited to judge in the 2017 Little Miss 2Go Travel search produced by 2Go Travel, the country biggest shipping line.

The competition was one of the major events of the 2017 Panaad sa Negros which is being celebrated as of this writing.

Ten (10) lovely little candidates represented various municipalities and cities all over the Negros Occidental Province.

The candidates competed in different categories as follows: Festival Costume, Play Suit, Question and Answer and Ball Gown.

Judging the little ones is like watching a mini version of the Negros Occidental’s “Lin-ay sang Negros” ( the province’s Festival Queen).

Listed below are the winners.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 4| MUNICIPALITY OF ILOG – LETTYNIA MELLISZE SORONGON

Lettynia Mellisze Sorongon represented the Municipality of Ilog. She was hailed as the 2017 Little Miss 2Go Travels. She won two special awards as follows: Best in Ramp Modelling and  Best in Festival Costume.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 9 | SAGAY CITY – VIOLA MARIE BREVA

The cute tanned little lady from Sagay City, Miss Viola Maria Breva cheerfully presented herself during the festival costume competition of the Little Miss 2Go Travel. Her costume with shell details was an inspiration of her hometown’s festival, the Sinigayan Festival. She was named First Runner-Up after the pageant. Viola Marie also bagged the Best in Talent and  Best in Paly Suit special awards.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 8 | MUNICIPALITY OF PULUPANDAN – DANIELLE CLYNE MAGBANUA

The bubbly girls from the Municipality of Pulupandan emerged as the 2nd Runner-up at Little Miss 2Go Travels 2017. She also won the Miss 2Go Express award.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 1 | BACOLOD CITY – JOAHNNA BEATRIZ  DELA

Jhoanna is a charming little girl who represented Bacolod City. She won the Miss 2Go Logistics as well as the Best in Ball Gown special awards. Her Ball Gown won the Best Ball Gown Design award.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 2 | BAGO CITY – THERESE MYLES ADVINCULA

Therese Myles Advincula represented Bago City in the 2017 Little Miss 2Go Travel. She was awarded as the Miss Ocean Link Institute , and her white fully sequined “Diwata” inspired festival costume won for her designer the Best Festival Costume Design.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 3 | CADIZ CITY – AMANDA ROSE KHO

One of the cutest and maybe the youngest amongst the candidates during the 2017 Little Miss 2Go Travel was Amanda Rose Kho from Cadiz City. The 6-year-old little “Chinita” little girl, delighted the judges, sponsors as well as her fellow candidates which made her  won the following awards: Miss Congeniality, Miss Jaunts and Journeys, and Miss Virginia.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 5 | LA CARLOTA CITY – MYAH AKARI BORJA

Myah Akari Borja represented the La Carlota City during the 2017 Little Miss 2Go Travel. Her festival costume was inspired by sugarcane one of the usual icons seen during the city’s Pasalamat Festival. She bagged the Miss 2Go Freight special award.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 6 | MUNICIPALITY OF LA CASTELLANA – ANGELA ROAN VERA

Inspired by her hometown’s festival, the “Bailes de Luces”, Angela wore a metallic tangerine costume with some gold details as well as a lighted headdress. She was awarded the Little Miss Supercat award and  best in Ball Gown awards.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 7 | MUNICIPALITY OF MURCIA – TWINAH KATHRYN SILVA

Sporting her gold and green festival costume, Twinah Kathryn Silva showed her charm as she showcase their municipality’s Tinabuay Festival. She won the following special awards: Miss Merzci, Miss Globe texter’s Choice Award, and Miss Sunstar’s Best in Interview. The award was referred to the question and answer during the press presentation which was held prior to the coronation night.

CANDIDATE NUMBER 10 | MUNICIPALITY OF SAN ENRIQUE – KIM RIVERA

Inspired by San Inrique’s “Bulang-bulang” Festival, Kim Rivera came up on stage during the festival costume competition with a rooster inspired costume. Kim won the Miss Photogenic Award
