Masskara Festival held every month of October in Bacolod City just turned 40 in 2019. The celebration proved to be one of the most colorful and biggest festivals in the country today. Each year, thousands and thousands of visitors visit the place to witness this world-renowned festivity in the City of Smiles.
1. Top on my list is the Masskara Arena and Street Dance Competition. Twenty-two barangays competed in the main event for this year with Brgy. Granada retaining their crown as the champion for the second time.

9. Maskara Festival Costume Exhibit. Current contingents displayed their costume on a mannequin, perfect for a photo op.
10. Smile. I opted not to post any picture here because this is not an event. However, the “smile” speaks of the entirety of the Masskara Festival. The smile distinguished Bacolod Masks from other masks; it represents every Bacolodnon’s warmth and love for life.
So, mark your calendar and experience the world-renowned Masskara Festival.
