We all know that it’s difficult and tiring when planning a local or international trip.From looking for the cheapest flights, affordable and reasonable hotels, a list of activities to do, list of things to bring and so much more preparation. Making the situation worse as we all know that there are so many travel documents to prepare before making it to our dream destination.

But who cares about a long list of preparation if we will be seeing the greatest sights of our life. The scenic Machu Picchu in Peru, the breathtaking Maldives, Japan’s popular cherry blossom and much more. So to make sure that we can make the most out of our dream vacation. We have gathered simple things to consider before you book a flight and travel overseas. Hopefully, you’ll find this one helpful. Enjoy!

1.Check Passport, Visa and Id’s and other Travel Documents

Whether it’s your first time to travel overseas or not. You must do your homework with your passports, visa, and other travel documents. Check your passport and visa, renew if it’s already near expiration, research for some travel documents needed. Cause generally we all want our passport to be valid six months before a vacation. Also, you have to consider storing all your travel documents as well as ID’s in one place so in times in a hurry situation you won’t end messed up.

2.  Research Cheap Flights and Reasonable Hotels

For an overseas country with thousands of wonderful tourist spots to explore. You can’t just stay in one place to enjoy your vacation unless you’re on a budget trip.So better check airline promos, alternate airports and routes, be mindful for holiday and busy months of the place you want to visit and check airline fares as often as possible so you can save more cash. You can also read hotel reviews online for customer’s feedback, availability of facilities and other things you consider before choosing your hotel.

3. Plan Your Itinerary

Having a list of places to visit or things you want to do in a foreign country will surely make your vacation easier, if you want to visit the Luxury Wellness Spa in Phuket make sure to have it on your list. Research for events happening in the cities, festivals you want to attend and a certain part of the town you want to avoid.  In other words research the country you travel including their native language, laws, and regulation so you won’t have any problem in your trip.

4. Create a Weekly/Daily Budget

For you to have a smooth and stress-free vacation, making a budget is one of the keys. Whether you’re a fancy traveler or not, it is important to determine and estimate your budget weekly or daily. These budget must include accommodation and transportation fees, indoor and outdoor activity fees, food, souvenirs, and other unexpected events like emergency medical fees.

5.  Bring all Necessary Gadgets

Last but definitely not the least, you need to have necessary gadgets for traveling. Whether you’re using a handy smartphone or you’re full gear DSLR and action camera. You need to maximize capturing quality shots so  you will have something to share in your social media and blogs. Also, you may want to bring your own adapters, power banks, extra battery and other necessary travel gadgets cause you might have time when in you’re in the middle of the trip and you lose battery. You know what I mean?

  1. These are very helpful tips. Since, I am now working, I need to ask permission from my Supervisor that I would like to take a vacation. Once I know that she gives me permission, I can then search some flights, hotels and write my plans of where to go. I usually take notes as my flight is near. I have to make sure that I have my camera, book/Nook with me, headphones, cellphone aside from the important documents like passport and my tickets.
