3 Must Try Dishes of Two Pans

Two Pans, hmmm, there’s name recall. This restaurant just had its soft opening last August 1, 2016, so I dropped by to feed my curiosity.  Luckily the owners were around to accommodate me. Ms. Meleene Tupan, the restaurant’s Operations Manager, mentioned that the name Two Pans was derived from their surname Tupan.  It was actually her brother who suggested this as the restaurant is a family owned business.  Ms. Meleene recounts that her whole clan loves to dine out and that they are familiar with the go-to places that serve good food. So when they decided to put up a business, what else but the one closest to their hearts and which their family can all relate to—food.

The place itself gives out a comfortable and relaxed vibe. It’s like being in a huge living room with small dining tables. Wooden walls are adorned with posters of inspirational quotes to brighten up one’s day.

There is also an elevated area in the restaurant where customers can just sit on the carpeted floor and play with board games on the square table or with their laptops or for those who just want some private space.

The food I sampled belongs to their best sellers list.

Two Pans

  • Pork Barbeque Ribs- pork short ribs marinated, grilled and basted with smoked barbeque sauce. The meat is tender and has a sweet and lemony taste. This dish is served with yummy potato salad. (P179)

Two Pans

  • Seafood Marinara- pasta cooked in olive oil with ripe tomatoes, clams, cream dory, shrimps, garlic and topped with parmesan cheese (P155)

Two Pans

  • Chicken Palliards- marinated chicken breast, pan seared. Topped with onions, tomatoes, pineapple, and herbs drizzled with roasted garlic sauce. (P139)

Coffee is also served at Two Pans. They have specialty coffee such as the Single Origin coffee (hand brewed at P100) and flavored coffee like Kiss of Hope (P90) and Graceful Macadamia (P90). TWG tea is also available (2 refills @ P100) teapot, (P145)

For snacks, they have the 3-way fries, 3-way burger, pizza dip (Hawaiian and all meat flavors).

Two Pans is located at the ground floor of O Residences, Mandalagan, Bacolod City.  They open Mondays – Thursdays (10am-9pm) and Fridays and Saturdays (10am-10pm).
